Ok this miiight be a stupid question, but is there a way to number my Rooms? My Map is already done and I want to add numbers as an afterthought so I can type out encounters for each room.
ok further stupid question. How do I put that number on the Map? I type is and it shows for instance "1" But I right click on the map and nothing happens.
That does nothing. I click the "1,2,3" button on the right side, type in the number I want. Right click to accept it, I see where it says place. I left click on the map where I want it to go, and nothing happens. I haz a confusion.
Is there a way to add a prefix? Say you were on level A and you wanted the labels to be A-1, A-2, etc.
(I right clicked on the numbering button and was surprised there were no other options - I think that is a first for me in CC3). I did not see anything under text properties either.
On the right hand side of CC3+, click on the large A. A window will pop up. Type in it what you will. I don't know if it will increment the numbers if you put anything else in there.
When the command line for the number label asks you for the starting number, just type A1 and it will increment the number, but leave the A alone
(Don't type A-1 however, CC3+ thinks that means the first number is a negative 1, other separator chars should work unless they would also have a meaning like - do.)
