You can always make specific color variations of the symbols by making a copy of the actual image file for the symbol, and change it in an image editor, and then import the changed image as a new symbol. My video here details the last part of that procedure, how to import images into CC3+. I was mainly concerned about getting and importing images from the internet, but importing modified versions of symbols is no different. Just make sure to copy the original symbols and put them in a folder by themselves before editing them, don't change the originals.
Note that others won't be able to use your .fcw file if you do this, but in most cases, it is the final image you export you want to share anyway. Also, make sure to keep a backup of your modified symbols, in case you need to reinstall your PC or switch to a different computer.
