Extracting landmass from PNG.
I was reading another post on here and sadly I did not understand so I'm hoping I can get a little more instruction. So I have a PNG of a map I made it has two colours the landmass and the 'ocean'. I read there's a command that helps the programme figure out the landmass by the colours. Could someone explain to a newish user how to do this. This other map I've spent a lot of time on but it was in a free simple software so I want to upgrade it to the snazzy Cc3+. Thanks for any help.

What stage are you at? By that I mean have you created a new blank map and imported your png image into it?
And have you got some way of making the ocean transparent?
(You don't have to delete the image from the map. Just update it in an image editor like GIMP and save it over itself, then reopen CC3 and the image in the map will also be updated.)
Once you have a transparent background you can use the TRACED command, which is described here in Remy Monsen's blog:
