Feedback Wanted: Map Legend

I am looking for feedback on the map legend in the upper-right of the map. I included a mini outline of the floor-plan, along with markers, and I'm wondering how the scale of everything looks to other people. Are the circles too big? Is a plain oultine OK or should it have a glow/shadow/texture effect?

Looks quite nice, but I am not 100% sold on the shadows on the text. I believe it will look better if either the shadows are drawn in closer to the text, or make the shadows even more transparent, and perhaps a bit softer.

All of the above (what Remy said) - closer, paler and softer.
