FastCad: Menu File not found
So, yeah, haven't fired up CC3 in a while and now when I do I get "menu not found" and - yup - there are no icons or anything anywhere.
How can I restore my menu? What file am I looking for and how can it be recreated? I hope I don't have to reinstall, simply because it was soooooooooooooo difficult to get it installed and working in the first place.
tried doing various forum searches - found nothing
looked up faqs - did not work
tried googling - found nothing

Running Update8 did not help, because the mnu file was not there.
just purchased and installed all the annuals and had the same problem …
ran the up-date 25 and every thing is back to normal...
hope you find this if your having the same problem

I reecently bought the Humble Bundle Pack and installed everything.
Now I have a similar Problem: I've installed the programm under another drive, because my C: SSD is nearly full. (Settings: install for all users)
After the installation, I had no problem using the software with the user I installed it with. But when I log in with another user (e.g. my girlfriend) I get the "FastCad: Menu File not found error". Does anybody have a clue, what I can do? I already reinstalled Update 28.
Do her user have access to the location you installed the program to? (i.e. can she browse to that location using windows explorer, there should be a few png files in there, can she view those in an image viewer?)
Assuming she can, on the CC3+ command prompt, try typing
menudm @fcw32.mnuand hit enter. This should load the default menu file, and CC3+ does remember this between sessions, so if this works, it shouldn't have to be done again.@Monsen And yes her account has full access to the folder.
