I'm having some trouble getting visible grid lines for gaming with the attached map -- the lines literally fade into the woodwork. Any tips on getting those lines to be visible against that background?
Use thicker lines, or try a different colour. White lines should be very visible against the wooden fill (Although they get invisible outside the ship with your current fill)
Yeah, there are a number of ways to make grid lines more visible. Monsen has mentioned the best. Another thing I sometimes do, is to add a weak Glow effect to the grid sheet.
Also, if you use white and/or wide lines, it can be nice to make the grid a little transparent so it doesn't stand out TOO much.
