Is it possible to send a drawing tool you've just created to a friend?

Yes. The file is stored in @System\drawtools\stylename with a .dto extension (If it is a macro drawing tool, it will also have a .dtm file)

As always, the tool will only work properly when used in a map that has the proper fill styles imported.
