Symbol Sets 1 & 2

I installed the SS2 and there were new buttons on the bottom right corner. But then they disappeared. I also have buttons for the SS3 and SS4, but not for the SS1 and the SS2. Is this normal?

SS1 and SS2 doesn't have their own buttons on the toolbar, they just use the default overland tools and DD3 tools respectively.
