Drawing one's own symbols

Greetings!

I saw somewhere a blurb on pixel sizes for symbols but I can't locate it now.

I'm drawing some symbols that I need and would like to know "what size" I should make them.

I think I saw somewhere that CC3 uses 40 pixels per foot?

I believe I found the answer - 100 pixels equals one real-world foot (so one gets Very High res images). From here.

Is this correct?

It depends on the map type the symbols are intended for.
For dungeon maps, it is 100 pixels/foot. Overland maps use 20 pixels/mile and city maps are 40 pixels/foot. (These are for the VH images)
