Maps of the day

The map of the day led me to the region known as Ermit Cave. There's a ruined bridge there, a perfect spot for a quick map – in this case, an A4 battlemap.

If the week is calm, I'll resume the project of creating another 7 maps of the day. 😅
Today's map takes me to an old drawing by Jimp, Artemisia - Elen - Daelarion - river watch - hidden lake, building number 2.
Cheers
This time the map of the day took me back, once again, to the fascinating kingdom of Embra in Alarius.
The floor tiling is really great. Does it come in that circular pattern? Where is that from?
Second Royal Scribe's question - that floor is striking!
I used the mosaic image (as a symbol flat) from monthly content #5 (temples) to create the base of the design. After that, I superimposed the images, one inside the other, using the orange floor circle as a boundary.
One after the other, each time with less image showing, leaving only the outer circle of the mosaic visible, with light and dark yellow floors, one inside the other.
Since I did it quickly, the fit isn't perfect, as the adjustment is manual and by eye; it needs more time to be more perfect.
In this example I placed six of them one inside the other in the outer circle, as on the inside (2).
For the sixth outer section, I could have put more care into it to make it fit better. 😅
This time I chose to make a map of a small dormitory, using the map from Brother @Royal Scribe.
I recently discovered this masterpiece made by Hadrian VI - Demosthenes Swamp, in Artemisia. I was so amazed by the work, and the subsequent Wyvern work in a small region, that I decided to add my wheelbarrow of sand to the project for this place.
I took for myself the small, nameless village to the northeast, now called Adondis, the village surrounded by a treacherous, stony swamp.
