I only had the bare minimum of art software loaded on my system so getting all of my ancient software loaded and functioning on Win10 was my first step. That's done.
Next up is creating the seamless textures as well as some bits and pieces that I might need. This involves trips around my local parks and green spaces to take pictures of old and rotting wood. This is where I'm at currently. I'll have to add more textures as I need them. I'm not sure yet what all I'll need and want. Here's what I have so far.

So you're going for the photorealistic look?
That's really hard to do. I always end up reverting to more of a hand drawn look.
Yep. I don't know if I'll succeed with what I would like to do but I'll end up with something to enter in the competition either way. It's been a few years since I've worked with photoshop. I may end up doing this in CC3+. I'm taking this in baby steps. ?
I'm egging you on from the side-lines.
Still a bit too busy with Marine Dungeon to break off and make a start on one for the challenge.
