Panorica: Duseksk's Domain | Shallow Island | Final Version

I had posted another version of this map a few days ago. But I worked a bit more on it. Just details really. But here is the REAL final version of my "Shallow Island" map. It is part of the Duseksk's Domain from my low fantasy world called Panorica.

  • This turned out very nice! Congratulations!
  • Indeed, a very impressive map. I'm fascinated by some of the unlabelled tiny details on the hi-res version. Bones, skulls, oddly isolated hills... I foresee trouble for investigators at some of those ;)

I did not put labels on them for two reasons: 1) I thought it would polutated the map; 2) I really wanted them to remain mysterious =)

    Thank you, my friend!
  • I guessed the lack of labels had been deliberate :)

I'm sure some of the "empty spaces" aren't all that empty either ;)

    Oh, one question.

What effects did you use on the beach? I understand the Edge Fade effect would make also the part close to the coastline to blur. Maybe the Blend one?

Thanks in advance and congratulations again on the job.

What I also did was to draw the beaches a bit over the coastline. So, when the edge fade/blur take place, it would blend better with the coast.

Haha that´s a good resource, well done! I always have issues with blending textures in CC3+ (actually that´s my bigger issue with the program). Yours is an elegant solution. Props!
  • Quenten asked for a scale bar. So I did one and some very small modifications (like the grey/white tree). I also updated the hi-res links to the new (and now really final) version. I hope you enjoy!

  • I worked a bit more in this... Basically I corrected 3 small things and drew the shield. The newer version (with the HD links) is in the first comment.
  • OK... now is the REAL final version =). I edited the first post and corrected the links.

    Thank you Monsen!
  • This is a knockout. Is this an annual style?

Yes, this is the Dark Realms style from the Annual 2016.

Oh, sorry. I did not saw the question. As Ralf said: it is from the Annual.
