Shessar's CC3(+) Art Assets

The only art still available for download is the Heraldric Clipart. All art is released under the Free Art License 1.3 unless specified otherwise.

Once unzipped, the Heraldric Clipart Folder and .fsc file must be placed in ProgramData\Profantasy\CC3Plus\Symbols\User\Shessar. You will need to create the Shessar folder if you haven't already.

Good stuff! I really hope you'll post these on the Dundjinni forums too. A lot of us make considerable use of the material posted there, particularly the CSUAC. Offering our stuff to Dundjinni users is a good way to say thanks and to pay them back a bit for what we've received from them. Daniel Pryor, a site admin there, is working hard to get things back up to the level where they once were, and he has asked specifically for those of us who use other programs to offer our stuff there too.

I've used DJ User art heavily in many of my maps so I will gladly share with the Dundjinni forums, though I'm not sure how well the 1000x1000 textures will play with that software. However, for reasons that I'm not quite sure of, their forums have been running extremely slow for me, to the point where my browser often times out. At the very least, I'll post a link to my Google Drive once I have everything uploaded.

You'll get full compatibility if you reduce them to 400x400.

Have you thought of putting the files into a zips or rars for download at some point to make it easy to download them instead of having to download each file individually?

If you're willing to let me convert items for Dundjinni and FM8 compatibility, the Vintyri Project also will be happy to host downloads of your work in CC3+/CC3, Dundjinni and FM8 versions. This would be non-exclusive, of course. In other words, you still can have your work available on any other sites that you wish.

Jay_NOLA and JimP, I have no intention of creating zips because I don't have enough art to justify the time spent zipping it up. I'm sorry for that, but I want to be able to just add a new piece to my site when I make it without having to add it to zips as well. However, if you would like to create zips and host them on your site you are certainly welcome to do so.

Vintyri, It would be great if you converted it for use in Dundjinni and FM8 and are free to host it.


Just to be clear, this art is all my personal creation, but there isn't a lot of it. I just thought it would be nice to share what I've managed to make. If you read the Free Art License 1.3 it grants the right to freely copy, distribute, and transform creative works without infringing the author’s rights. So ... zip it, host it, convert it, modify it - just always release it under the same or a compatible license.



I've added a couple new items in the past few days. That is probably all I have for now but will post again if and when I make something new. I'd like to try my hand at clothing creation for Character Artist but I'm not sure if my skill set is up to it yet.

Hey Shessar, I downloaded some of your cc3+ art, and I have them sitting in a temp folder on my desktop. I've read the tome a couple of times, trying to install them in cc3+, and once again, I'm just not getting it. You were so great at dumbing down the instructions for installing the CSUAC, I was hoping that when you have free time(if that is even possible) would you be willing to dumb things down for me again?

Lol... Fair enough! Besides, I've already started using your tutorial for my Ardenvale town map. You know, I had no idea how involved this process is. I don't see how people like you and Lorelei and Charles can make such intricate maps in so little time! It took me over and hour just to get the white water correct on my river. I'm still not sure it's done right, so I will be looking forward are to your critique after my next post.

The zip file can be downloaded from HERE.

To use these symbols, unzip the file. Inside of the unzipped folder is another folder named Shessar. Copy and paste the Shessar folder into: ProgramData\Profantasy\CC3Plus\Symbols\Perspectives.

Let me know if you find any bugs and feel free to ask questions if you are unsure of how to install these.

I have just added some new symbols for Character Artist. I don't have many yet, only a few fur cloaks for the Human Male figure, but I thought I'd share them now so that you knew that I am working on this as promised.

I just wanted to give everyone a heads up that the "Shessar's Fireplaces" symbol pack that is available in the ProFantasy DD3 downloads registration page is now updated for CC3+. After running the install, access it through the Furniture Menu Button.

Big thanks to Ralf for updating this!


EDITED TO ADD: Please note that these symbols are released under the same license as all other ProFantasy art since I used DD3 art assets to make them.
