BEHOLD YOUR DOOM! Here is the area map of the Bloody Tree, a sinister point of interest very near the Lilia Village in the Shallow Island... What may be the fantastical history behind this strange and dark place?

In the square or hex grid version, each unit is 1,5 meters.

But if you say the lake and rivers are really raspberry juice (or another red beverage of choice), you can have a completely different impression of the setting ;)

Thank you. The bloody lake was done in CC then I exported it to Gimp so I could get this red colour that you see. But all textures, waves and the like where done in CC

Jim beat me to the "bones" answer! I thought the pink trees especially already looked like cotton candy (that's candy floss for British English speakers)!

Just to let you know! I won the Lite Challenge from Cartographers Guild with this map =)

Some are "handmade" (you know, "mouse made" hahahaha) and some are from free assetes from internet... I am not sure the name as I have then for a long time and they are organized in my custon symbols folders... But is something like "Fantasy Map Pack" or the like...
  8.
And I modified many symbols in Gimp to use here
