Modifying Toolbar Symbol Question

I am wanting to add some toolbar symbols for a style I am working on, but I also want to share this with other Harn mappers. Since not everyone has all of the Profantasy products is there a way to have each persons tool bar menu to update and include these symbols whenever they add a product? Or is it a case of adding those lines to the menu file after each update?

You could make your own menu.cfg file (look in @system\menu.cfg for the official proFantasy one). Users could then run cc3menuconfig with your file as an argument, and it would automatically update the relevant menus. They will need to manually run it though, it won't happen automatically on add-on installations.

So, when you run this it just pulls in the lines that I have in my menu.cfg file? If so, that is a simple process.

Basically, the menu.cfg contains commands for deleting and inserting lines, and checks to determine which files you have so it can insert the correct data into the menu files.

The various installers for the community symbol sets uses this.
