For some time I've been wanting to convert a building design of mine to a house symbol using Sue Daniel's "Making New House Symbols in CC3+" blogs but it has roofs on wings at odd angles (4:3 or 3:4) to the usual compass directions. I discovered that if you LIST a shaded polygon entity the listing will show the RGB color numbers for "*Angle:" (RED) and "Pitch:" (BLUE) so you can easily add the appropriate colors to your palette for your MAP entities.

Now I only have to figure out how to map the central tower (with a crenelated roof) that the house is built around. ;)

(PS. Because I don't have home internet if you don't get back to me by Friday I'll be offline indefinitely due to COVID-19 closures.)

Shouldn't be that different from a regular house roof.
If the crenelations are flat, then it should have a blue value of 255, and the direction don't really matter, or if it is sloped, map each crenelation as you would a sloping roof.

If there is a central round roof, the mapping for the roof will look something like this.

If you have Excel or a spreadsheet app that can read excel files without distorting them too much I can attach a spreadsheet I did for myself of all the angles relating to the red and blue shading.

You will have to modify the colour palette to get the red and blue right.

And remember to attach the custom palette to the drawing [PRESETS]. I just had to rebuild 12 custom map colors to my palette for the roofs of the wings. I was going to attach the resulting map file but it is kind of large.
