So I tried adding lights to a map for the first time. As you probably expect, I was confused and ran into some problems. Thanks to those who came before me and asked the same questions here, I think I got the basic concept now. But after I added the setup (Walls sheet) and finalize(lights end sheet) effect as well as some light sources, I noticed some weird shadows. I really don't know what's causing them. Attached you'll find a screenshot with a single, all-encompassing light source (placed over the gate to the left) that shows all of them. They seem to be somwhat correlated to the walls, but not consistently. I'm stumped and would be grateful for tipps.

Looks like your wall shadows are interfering. You shouldn't mix regular shadows with the lighting system. Turn off all the other shadows, and the problem should go away.

It was as easy as that! As the directional wall shadows were there by default, it didn't question them. Guess I should have ;-) Thank you very much!
