Stuck in Editing Layers
I've gotten used to the fact that when I want to edit something I select the tool (such as Erase) and it says to select the entities and I can draw a selection box. Unfortunately, somehow I got stuck in a different mode. Now, it says Layer name [dialog] and a changes affects all the entities on that layer. I need to get back to the prior method. How do I do that?

type that on the command line. Something didn't finish earleir in your map.
Was it something I did? I'd like to avoid it in the future if possible.
For reference, you can also set these options from the main options dialog -> Select method button.
