I'm using Astrosynthesis to generate a universe and then FT3 to generate the worlds. What I'm wondering is if there's a way to change the default fractal setting that's used when FT3 is called from Astrosynthesis. It defaults to the Ridged Multifractal but I like the fBm with Perlin's improved noise fractal generation much better.
I've never used Astrosynthesis, though I intend to go look it up now (!). My initial reaction though is that you can generate the FT world with the default if you like, and then in the FT program simply go into World Settings and switch to the fBm fractal you mention.

@Hercules, I had the same question and was told that it wasn't modifiable. You have to generate with the Ridged Multifractal, but change in FT3 once the autogen from Astrosynthesis was complete.
