Grid overlay question

I am wanting a grid overlay that is horizontal (? Flat on top) and 25 map unit size. That is the easy part. However, the system I drawing the map for has a half hex on the left most side. CC3+ starts with the point of the first full hex on the left border. I believe I have to set points? How does this actually work?

    Set points just lets you define the area for the grid yourself by specifying two diagonally opposite corners of a rectangle, for example the bottom left and top right corner. You'll just want to set the bottom left point an appropriate distance to the left of the map border.
