installing and using annual content

Hi everyone. This community has always been so helpful in helping (sorry for that!). I just purchased a couple of the annuals, one of which contains the HW isometric stuff, but I have trouble seeing new content I downloaded. I have the perspective addon, but I can't figure out how to access all the great new content. I tried to start a new map, using HW template but there doesn't seem to be anything new in there. If you could help direct me as to how to get to all those new symbols, doors, etc., I would be most grateful.
