Fractal terrains

Ive been using fractal terrains for a while but though its great and so far the only program of it sort availabe its still limited, for example u cant import heightfield maps and erode/edit them to realism inside the program, and the weather could include more control and be more realistic.

my question is when are likely to see a new and improved version?

    I'd love to see an updated release of FTPro as well even (or especially) if it cleaned up some of the bugs in the software. Heck, I'd love to see just an updated version of the user's manual so it explained all the functions of the current version of the software.

    I'd love to see the various bugs in FT Pro cleaned up first, then some of the current features streamlined for easier use before any new features.

    FREX, multiple file export still doesn't work reliably enough to give you a decent set of drill down maps, and bitmap exports crash my computer when the show grid option is on.
