I have a Traveller deck plan that I did in CC2 a long time ago. When I try to open the fcw cc2/cc2pro/cc3/cc3+ all die with out opening. All other files from the same time period work fine. So here is a ping of the deck plan made at the time it was working.

Now the only problem I can see with the file is the line graphic right below "TYPE" is no longer in exsistance. It was a separate png. I would have expected a red X after the file was open. But of course it does not get that far. Here is the fcw file.

Not sure what is going wrong with that map. I can't even import it into another CC3+ without crashing, nor open it in CC2 Pro. Sorry.

Drat, I hoped that you would have a way, but that is the way it goes.

It looks like the file data was corrupted somewhere along the line, which is causing the data to be garbage as the system decompresses it. The biggest problem with compressed files is that even a single bit error can unrecoverably corrupt the entire stream.

My goodness!

It managed to crash mine just by trying to appear in the preview window before I tried to open it.
