Erase a portion of a border line?

Can you erase only part of line made with the Border tool? If you look at my map(attached) the area marked Epsilon Concordant I want to erase just that little piece of the purple border line that for whatever reason did not connect. IS this possible?

Seems like you have an extra node there in a bad position that causes that spike. It is probably better to fix it by removing the node using Delete Node

To remove part of a line, you'll need to use the Break

and/or the Split

commands to break it into individual parts, then you can delete the offending parts. Note that if you do that to a closed polygon, you need to close it again manually when you are done.

ahh yea probably easier to just remove the whole thing and redraw it then. Thanks

Maybe right now, but I do recommend you familiarize yourself with these tools. Knowing them can make things significantly simpler later.

You can toggle Frames on and off to see where the nodes of a curve really are using CTRL+F if you want to see the one that's causing the problem to be able to delete it
