This is a map I did for a play-by-post living world game I've been involved with for several years. Venza is the jumping off point for new characters and adventures.

I really wanted to do something that was a little different, and the Overland Perspectives from the annuals seemed like a good place to start.

Note that the map is not meant to be to scale - it's more a stylistic representation of the city, showing the general location of the districts and major landmarks :)

You must have missed all the lovely perspective overland maps that Lorelei made while you were away, Storm :)

Thanks, all. I can't believe I've not been active on these forums before - what a great community, and so many great maps!

    Lovely map.

So, what is the story behind Bayanmalit? Kinda looks like a adventuring hotspots with all those non-city symbols in one place.
Thank you, Monsen! That's the district of the city built and populated primarily by Gnomes. They're a little quirky in this world, and we use Tagalog as the basis for their language which is why this district's name doesn't have the Italian flavor of the others. It's also often mispronounced as "Bangin' Mallet," which is somewhat appropriate as there's a lot of industry/clockwork-like stuff that goes on there. It looks a little like Las Vegas to me...
