We were discussing military history on a Traveller forum.

This page has aerial photos, topo maps, and drawings of various small Pacific islands from WW2. Saipan, Tinian, French Frigate Shoals, and Guam. While this is principally about the airfileds located there, the maps show some of the coral reefs. There are also some ground photos. This info could be used for WW2 gaming, or ideas for small islands for any genre.

Lots of nice photos there. The smaller islands are kind of funny, with the airfields basically filling the entire island. Once you step out of your aircraft, you are on the beach.

Particularly French Frigate Shoals. The runway is bigger than the rest of the island. The site contains information for all 50 states, but I felt these might be more interestng.

If Pacific Islands are of interest, I'd also recommend the topographic maps available from the University of Texas' website, the Perry-CastaƱeda Library Map Collection, particularly those from this page because for RPGamers, notably those fans of Call of Cthulhu there is an excellent high-def set covering the island of Ponape! There's also a good topographic map of Saipan to contrast with the airfield details from the page Jim linked to, for instance.

Militarily, the World War Two section is worth hunting around in as well, which covers both the Asia-Pacific and European theatres.
