Cartographer's Annual Volume 12 (2018) Final Add-on

I have installed all the monthly issues of last year's Cartographer's Annual, so all that is left is the summary install that adds the index link for it on the "Tools->Add-ons" submenu. When will that be ready? And will there be a "lean" version for those who have already installed each issue as it came along?

I am guessing it won't be too far in the future, but as far as I know, Ralf isn't done compiling it, and then it needs to undergo testing, so it is at least a little off yet.
As for a lean version, probably not, hasn't been one for earlier annuals, and multiple versions is more work both to prepare, test and maintain, so I am assuming not.

I think Ralf does a stupendous job pulling everything together the way he does, so its no great shakes to me if I have to download a few more MB to get the full thing all in one.

I download and install the annuals as they are ready each month. Should I also be downloading and installing the full file when its compiled?

Normally not necessary. It will include any updates to the issues of course, but any such updates will normally have been posted earlier anyway. It is mostly intended for new installs. You won't see the entry in the Add-ons submenu without it, and won't have the annual index file, but those are basically just cosmetics anyway.

If I might make a suggestion: the Add-ons sub-menu is getting a bit long (it extended to the bottom of the window last I checked) so you might want to put all the Cartographer's Annuals on a sub-sub-menu if that is possible.

As far as I know, the menu system used by the underlying engine don't support this, it only allows for sub-menus one level below the main menus.

Theoretically it might be possible if the sub-menu entry called a context menu. Could a Cartographer's Annuals context menu be kept updated? (Chained context menus might get a bit complicated.)
