Possible to recover a map?
Hey all,
I have an issue with a map that I've put about 3-4 hours worth of work into and would like to not lose. I have CC3+ with CD3 and all the additional resources from Dundjinni, CSUAC, and Bogie, plus Annual 9. I was working on my map last night when Windows Explorer crashed. I restarted it, which seemed to put CC3+ into a weird state where a command prompt popped up several times before the map finally rendered again. I clicked one of the symbol set icons and all the toolbars scrunched against the left side of the screen. So I restarted the app. It asked if I wanted to save before I closed, so I selected yes. After restarting my map is just an orange field and the backgrounds for the symbols on the left is orange too. I attached a screenshot. I'll put my map in a followup comment.
Any ideas what happened and if I can recover my map? Thanks!

Now, how your map came to be overwritten by the symbol catalog file, I cannot say, but nothing can be recovered from that file, this isn't a corrupted map, it is a plain copy of the actual symbol catalog file. The only way to recover from this is from a backup (or autosave, but you already confirmed that option was out)
And this can go back substantionaly further back than Undo can go.
