    Those are the totally famous 'Shessar cliffs'. Shessar developed a technique to create cliffs, and its contained in a tutorial she wrote, which is available from the resources sticky thread at the top of the forum :)

    You're right Scott, it does look more like a stone wall. I'm still playing around with different methods of depicting elevation. I want this village to look like it sits on a small hill with past glaciation exposing the rock beneath and the aquifer feeding the spring... I think I have a lot of experimenting to do. LOL :D
