    What kind of wall ?

Stand alone ? Map edge for a border ? Ruins ?

Like a hedge between two places ?

It would have to be a pretty big wall to show up on an average overland map. Something like the Wall of China?

The answer is yes. All a wall in a dungeon map is a line with a thickness and (typically) a fill style and placed on a sheet with effects.

But, most overland symbols are slightly isometric, and a wall made as a line with a thickness and effects won't be. So, you may want to create the wall will multiple entities together and shade them differently, i.e. the top and visible side.

Depending on size/distance covered of the overland map, symbols can disappear as they would be too small to see.
