I am working on a city map and am very much looking forward to CD3. I was wonding if that product will have some flat roofed houses. The city I am making has both pitched roof and flat roofed buildings in it. If it doesn't, does anyone know of a source of flat roofed buildings?

    Thank you in advance.

City Designer 3 will have a selection of flat roof house symbols, and the house command will allow to creae flat-roofed buildings quickly and easily.

This is my little thanks to ProFantasy for their hard work on CD3 and to the whole CC3 comunity at this great forum. This is my variation of house from the new CA (and CD3)- a wind mill and its green roof variation.

ShadoWWW, your link to the "Wooden_Mill.zip" file is broken. It has four "/" instead of two. Thanks for the very nice looking windmills.

Also, rapidshare is very very annoying.

Since CD2 was my most used add-on for CC2 I can see CD3 becomming my most used add on for CC3. Waiting expectently. Though will I be correct in assuming that cities put together using the new symbols will be much larger than the equivelants in the earlier version?

No reason they should be, really. You are probably going to use the new raster symbols, but those are not embedded in the drawing like vector symbols are, and sheet effects are only stored in the drawing as parameters for the effect, taking up almost no space. In other words, file sizes should be pretty much the same, although if you make/use custom raster symbols, these have to be distributed along with the map, and in that case, will take some extra space.

Sounds even better and better. Hopefully not too long now before it is released. Time to start saving up some funds.

You're a God-send ShadoWWW. I'm under a tight time constraint to create several maps for a module and I desperately needed a CD-style windmill. Yours is exactly what I was looking for, though note that the link to the green-roof version is no longer good. 4shared.com seems to be a good place to post things, if interested. A thousand thanks.
