Symbol Placement Point

Pillar ornate 1 from SS4 seems to have a placement point that is near the middle of one of the edges. I would have expected it to be in the center.

Are others seeing this behavior? If not, is there some sort of reset I need to do? If so, is there a way I can modify the placement point? (I couldn't find one.)

Placement point is defined as the Origin of each individual symbol. To move this, you need to edit the symbol in question, and use View -> Move Origin on it to put the origin where you want it on the symbol. (I am guessing that it isn't intentional that it isn't centered, but that's the way it is by default)
