Hills and Mountains

So I am adding hill lands and mountains to my map. So I added terrain first then I added hills and Mountain symbols. But it doesn't look right to me. (Actually looks like all mountain terrain). So I have come looking for suggestions on how to make it look good.
The map is currently using the Dark Realms style from 2016 Annual. It is 5,800 x 3,600 miles (and there is more land north I just copied that section of the map funnily )and was originally from part of an FT map
