Character artist, making non-humanoids ?

Does anyone have a tutorial, etc. for creatng a non-humanoid in Character Artist ?

Beings with multiple legs ( more than 2), etc. I'm not sure what else I want to draw. But I definatley want to experiment with using CA to draw beings that don't look like humans, or similar to humans.

I have been looking to try out the Spore Creature Creator. From what I got out of the Spore Creature Creator EULA, I can only use the characters in-game, or on a web site about EA's Spore game. So no go for using them for my sf worlds.

Bummer. As boring as that game was, it would have been nice if it could at least server some purpose for someone....

Oh, and EA retains the rights to any creatures you create. Not what I wanted to read.

There are plans.

But it's a while in the future (sorry, no dates or even rough timeframes at this time).

You and me both. With CC3's effects you should really be able to produce a lot of great stuff with Character Artist. I would love to use it to make paper figures for my games!

I am not an artist, so me being able to use CA to make non-human SF beings, along with 'ancient' humans, etc. would be great.
