  Try to install both products by right-clicking on the installer, and choose "Run as administrator". You will need to uninstall the previous installations first.
  Then make sure you install the latest patch (Patch 7), also using the "run as administrator" option...
  
  I also know some people have had better luck installing it in a folder outside the "Program Files" hierarchy , as vistas special protection of the program files folder doesn't kick in there.

  I have tried all these options and still have the same problem as martiniconqueso. The sad thing is that I had installed it previously, but had lost the bitmap symbols and was trying to fix that problem. Now, I have a greater problem.

  If you still can't get it to work after following these hints, you should contact ProFantasy Tech Support directly. They should be able to help you out.

  I have discovered a work-around. I may yet try the install as admin option, but for now if I create a new map, select dungeon, and then select "Decide Settings Myself" the DD3 drawing tools will appear. I still have no easy way to swap between CC3 & DD3. If I create a new dungeon map from an existing template, I am still in CC3 with no dungeon drawing tools.

  Run the CC3MenuConfig.exe file from the CC3 folder, using the "Run as Administrator" option. That should fix the menu.
