    Hi team,

Does anyone know a better way to do hills on a city map. I'm trying to do something that looks less like a button from a 1995 website and more like rolling hills from a pleasant hillside view.

I did these hills in GIMP which is obviously not ideal. Would prefer a way to achieve a similar result within CC3+ itself.

    Hi Daplunk,

Have a look at this: https://jdr68.jimdo.com/tutoriels-tutorials/cartographie-mapping/the-blend-mode-overlay-effect/

I'm going to have to use this technique! Very nice.

You could also use the lighted bevel effect to create hills. It eliminates the most of the flaws of the normal bevel effect.
