Question about color format

What color format does CC3+ use?
Can it be adjusted and if so how?

I am looking as some requirements for a project that uses CMYK and/or sRGB.

As a hobbyist, I am not well educated in this arena I am afraid.

Thanks :-)

What kind of requirements are there?

I'm not super educated either in colour spaces (this is a surprisingly very difficult subject), but here are some pieces of information:
    - If you edit a colour in CC3+, you can enter its value in RGB.
    - If your goal is to display something on screen, most of the time it won't matter much and you can work in RGB with CC3+ without any wory
    - If your goal is to print something, it might matter more... Maybe a way to work it out is to use something like Krita (a free bitmap editing software focused at drawing, a little bit like Coral Painter) that can preview the result of some images on some specific printers.

There is an interesting video by one of the developers of Krita. She is the one who worked one adding wide gamut support in this software, and she explained what she did and why.

She also wrote this tutorial on colour space.

CC3+ only uses RGB colors. You can change the used color format in external application like Photoshop or Paint.NET.
  • Thanks! :-)

It is a print for clothing.
