Help outside the lines

I've been learning CC3 and DD3 recently and I can't find a solution to a recurring issue. When I place an item (Vegetation for example) so that it overlaps the edge of the map and spills out onto the whit workspace, I can't figure out how to cut the excess off. When I save the map in Jpeg format the image shows the outside 'white' and doesn't automatically crop anything outside the border. How can I fix this?

Build a series of white rectangles around the out side of the map. Make sure that they draw last. This covers up any symbols or effects that "spill" outside of the map.

I understand the idea, but how do i make the box draw last? Thanks for the patience, still learning =P

FWIW, you can crop all those symbols if you really want -- just explode the symbol reference and it turns into a set of standard CC3 entities. You can then go around and (painstakingly) edit them. Drawing the boxes around is MUCH simpler, and works well.

I only mention this because when I started, I always thought drawing the boxes was a bit of a kludge. Now I think it's smart use of techniques.
