import files form other software ?

I was watching an advert for Spore recently. The game has a monster/character editor with many interesting shapes. I want to greatly increase the character types I use on my web sites and game.

Is there a way to export those 'beings' and use them in Character Artist ?

Are there any other programs out there that can export graphic files that can be used in Character Artist ?

I don't think so. Some software do let you export as a png file or other image file (but I don't think spore lets you), and in any case, for using it with character artist, you are dependent on getting just the figure, and not background etc. And getting it in a pose that will fit with CA, so that you can use the existing clothes and items on it, is very unlikely.

If you only want it for making tokens and those small stand-up figures, it might be easier, since you can probably just take a screenshot from spore, crop it, and paste it in, but it wouldn't be much post-processing possible in CC3 in this case.

In spore you can save the monster as a jpg ( or was it gif) But it is low res

CC3 handles .dxf files very well if you can export to that. Sorry if this isn't helpful.
