CD3 Using High-Res Fills vs Automatic Low-Res Fills

I'm using CD3 and when I select the drawing tools, the tools always select the low resolution version of the fill. Is there a way to make it so the tools always bring back the high resolution images without having to go into the fill styles option and selecting the high res image everytime I use a different fill, or create a new map?

Click the "Display Speed Settings" button (Left toolbar, looks like an hourglass with a magnifying glass), then select fixed bitmap quality, and "high" or "very high"
