What is the color 31 for?

I don't get what the color 31 is for, and I don't seem to find much on it on the pdf documentation provided.
Can someone explain a more detailed example other than "this is useful when defining arrowhead symbols?"
Thanks!

It is the "no change" color, which means that it should always be the color of the previous entity drawn. This was used when you placed town a colored symbol from the symbol catalog, you could easily draw an entity in a matching color (such as the line trailing an arrowhead symbol) without having to know exactly what color was used in the symbol. It isn't much use today with modern raster symbols, since they don't use CC3's color palette.
  • Gotcha, that made perfect sense.
Thanks again Monsen! you're a gentleman and a scholar.
