Totally fascinating

I never realised that real mountains cast such uniformly stereotypical triangular shadows (the Rockies show this quite magnificently on the first link)

It is a shame, however, that you can't zoom very far into the map to see all the details.

I really like the rivers-only maps, and the fact that by just looking at the rivers, you can really easily tell where the mountains are!

Yes I liked those too. Natural drainage patterns form very relaxing patterns.
