Batch Conversion functionality

Does the 'Batch Conversion' function within both CC3 and CC3+ convert ordinary .JPGs to .FCW format so that maps made outside of CC3 can be modified or populated using CC3.

So far I have not been able to convert a .JPG to .FCW format using batch conversion and was wondering if there is a way to do so if this isn't it.

    No. Such a conversion is not practically possible, an image file, like .jpg (or png, bmp, etc) does not contain the information required to make a map file from it.

    The Batch conversion command is designed to convert older format CC maps to CC3+ format, as well as some other cad formats. You can convert TO an image file, but not from it.
