Tome of Ultimate Mapping support files for CC3+

For those using the Tome with CC3+ (only), the tutorial files for it are now downloadable from your registered user page as a separate download. These files are the exact same tutorial files that comes with the installer (for CC3), just slightly updated to work properly with CC3+. Note that since the Tome is written for CC3, the files does not take advantage of any new features in CC3+. The files can really be put anywhere, but I recommend putting the contents of the zip into @tutorials\Tome to match the references used in the Tome.

This should make it easier for CC3+ users to use the existing Tome until I can finish up the CC3+ version. (Don't ask me for when, I work regularly on it, but I keep finding more and more things that needs to be documented/updated/rewritten, so all I can say is that it is coming along, it is most definitely a work in progress.)

I really don't envy you that job. It sounds a bit like painting the Fourth Bridge. Here in the UK we have an iron bridge that spans the Firth of the Fourth. Because its iron it needs to be repainted on a regular basis. What they do is start at one end and work their way across to the other side, taking four years to complete the process, then they start again at the first end - a never ending job.

It isn't a bad job though, just time consuming, but I enjoy working on it. And you won't believe how much new stuff I learn about CCx while working on it. Because trust me, there is always new stuff to be learned about CCx.

Sounds like they've got job security :)

Well you do a sterling job, Remy. The Tome will be my next purchase :)

I agree about there always being new stuff to learn. Its not like other software, where the limitations are clear and obvious. I still haven't found the edge of this rather large field just yet - not any of them ;)

Sue really means the Firth of Forth and the Forth Bridge. But don't blame her. She lives in England. not Scotland, and that's far, far away from Edinburgh. Still, a Scotland fan like me can't just let that go.
