City Designer - Random Street - Is it possible to use symbols?

Is it possible to use symbols in some form when using the "random street" option in city designer?It looks to me like the houses are drawn there and then, but it is possible to use a similar effect but drawing using some of the other house symbols?

You might look for the user made macro for city streets. I remember it letting you pick which house symbol set you wanted to use.

Its been years since I last looked at it, so I could be mistaken.
