Strange blue line

I recently decided to try CC3+, and while I'm working my way through the tutorials, I noticed an anomalous blue line showing up. I have replicated it several times. It shows up when I begin a new map, probably in about 40% of new landmass creation. It always seems to be somewhere in the top 5-10% of the landmass, and can't be erased. The redraw command does not solve the issue, either. Has this occurred to anyone else? If so, how did you fix it?

That usually happens when two nodes overlap. You will have to zoom ver close to the location where the line originates and remove the offending nodes.

I had the same problem working with this style last year. There's a long discussion of it here that might help you:

I wound up coming up with a different solution: I deleted that blue coastline. Hide all the sheets save the one holding the coastline, then select the coastline and delete it. I then used the techniques Joe Sweeney describes in this video:

To be honest, I like this better than the default electric blue coastline in that style. Also, near as I can tell from experimenting with a few other styles, that problem appears only with this blue coastline. So, rather than spend time editing nodes, I just nuked it.
