Hi everyone,
Today my friend Chase asked me if it were possible to make a constellation map with cc3. I wasn't really sure if there were any actual templates for it but I knew it could be done. So I did some searching around in Cosmographer 3 and made a trial constellation map just to see if I could do it. Of course I could make it better but this was just to test a concept. After I made it I liked it so much that I thought I would share it with you all. So here it is, Chase's trial constellation map.
Enjoy

So here is one with the saturation of blue toned down a bit. This one reminds me of what I used to see in my parents old encyclopedia.
Enjoy
@Dogtag: Thanks. Really? It looks fine on my computer screen. I'll mess with it some more and see if I can make the lines stronger.
@Shessar: Thanks
@Ladiestorm: Thanks. I really like Cosmographer, but really, the only part of this map that is available in Cosmographer are the stars themselves. The white lines connecting them are the line drawing tool with the color changed to white, the black line drawings of the Egyptian Symbols underneath them are Photoshop brushes I bought off of someone from Deviant Art, the yellow text is of course just text with the color changed to yellow, the blue background is simply a background color change, and the grid is not from Cosmographer at all. I don't really remember where it is from, I think maybe one of the Annuals.
I'm bringing this up because I don't want you to think all of that stuff comes standard with Cosmographer, then you go buy it for yourself or your hubby thinking you will get it all, and then be very disappointed because it isn't all there.
There are plenty of cool things in Cosmographer, that's for sure, but most of what I have on this map isn't Cosmographer. But I did find a cool star and was able to change it's size quite a bit for making the stars on this map.
