CC3+ Crashing on Print

I have another issue. I installed CC3+ for the first time today and applied the update I got an email about. I was able to start the program and everything worked really well until I decided to test printing something and clicked on File-->Print Wizard. When I did that, the program crashed back to the desktop. I can reproduce this every time. If I change the default printer to something else, CC3+ also works fine. If I just select "Print", I can print without issue. I have sneaking suspicion this is related to how I have my printer connected. My printer is on my network and connected via IP rather than being plugged directly into my computer. I do not have the same problem with CC3 (no + or anything, not that there is a print wizard) and I can print to the printer normally from other software.

Does anyone have any suggestions what I can do about it?

Yeah. I've never had the print wizard work on my network printer either.

I just use the standard manual print setup and print to pdf.

Interesting. It works fine on my network printers, both when printing to the printer share on the server, as well as the direct printing to both the IP and domain name of the printer, but it does crash 100% of the time when I try to print to redirected client printers via Terminal Server, so it seems like it is indeed some printer configurations that make the Wizard crash.

I'll make sure Ralf notices this so he can add it to the bug list and hopefully get it fixed. In the mean time, I suggest you use the regular Print dialog, it has the same settings available as the Wizard.

Generally, PDF is what I've had to do when it comes to print, and I've had relatively few issues with it, but I've seldom even tried hard copy. I've run into multiple problems-- especially with 3+ and the newer Herman Wielink maps if I try to render to PNG or JPG at too large a size, which I figure means I'm topping out on my ram.

CC2/CC3/CC3+ use a maximum of 2 gigs of ram, as they are 32-bit programs. But Windows also has restrictions that could be contributing.
