Can't install updates...

I just purchased my brand new laptop today! No more having to confiscate my sons' laptops to be able to go somewhere with wi Fi!
Here's my problem. I got the computer home, and started transferring all of my files and stuff over to my new laptop, including cc3+. That install went just fine. But when I tried to install the latest update, once again the update can't find my cc3+, even when I give it a direct path to it. I have my hidden files shown, and I ran both as administrator, and the update still can't find the program.
Any suggestions, ideas?

Do you make sure to run the CC3+ versions of the CD3/DD3/Update installers? The CC3 versions will definately fail. Yes, just note that the registry path is slightly different, when it refers to CampaignCartographer3, you should use CampaignCartographer3Plus instead.
