  I've only exported with the Traveller template hex grid; however, you can add a square grid in CC3.
  
  There might be a square grid in FT3, but I haven't seen, nor used, one.

  I suppose I should clarify. I mean for ship design Hero Traveller used hex grid for ship plans all other version use square grid I want to know if I can set my ship plans with both types of grids

  CC3/CC3+ has both grids. My apologies, I misread your question.
